I believe we need at least 6, my current count is 4 down for the GB and that includes you. But hay were heading in the right direction again :-) Still 8 days to go. Almost everyday someone is asking on this site where do we get tunes for these cars N14 and N18, well here they are people.

Well at least the n18 count towards this GB that will help. I'd imagine people are seeing that there aren't enough buyers and don't want to commit to the price.

 

They made an N18 tune at the wrong time. This should've been done about six months ago. I might get the N18 tune from evolve after I get a dp and fmic, but for now, my jb+ will suffice.

 

I guess while we start another thread about what we think of our tunes everyone else can keep asking who tunes there cars, why can't I get my car running right, I bolted this and that on and my but dyno's telling me I added maybe 5hp.

 

This group buy does include the N18. Many of you are saying we came out way to late, BUt if you notice the tunes that are out and available are piggy back tunes. (JB) nothing wrong with them, we just like to provide a solid well balance tuned that you dont have to worry about

 

I think there is a bit of confusion and it is on my part. Here is the deal, this is officially a N14/n18 group buy. We will need a total of 10+, n14/n18 will get a total of 10% off if we can reach 10. Beyond that I will price accordingly.

Hay MINI4LYF I see your asking about the dealers finding the tune, I'd say it's pretty rare for the N18 to be tuned so it's probably not something their looking for. Of course life's full of risks but that's what makes it so interesting and they've got to prove the tune caused what ever warranty work may need doing later on.

 

How many people are we up to ? When is the dead line for this GB ?

We had that many a couple pages ago. One the first or second day we had 5 I think right off the bat

 

Correct me if I'm wrong but it was explained to me like this. You don't have to put a down payment on but if we get ten they will release a discount code. So you are really not risking anything. Id jump on if that's the case. if it falls through your not risking anything

I have a 2013 jcw hardtop with the n18 ecu and I email evolve about the tune and was told there are no tune available is the true

You want the JB+ tune. It's $300 and they're coming out with the JCW/GP2 one for you guys too.

we offer a n18 tune, but is different then the n14, you will have to send your dme to our us location to have it modified

 

I'm trying to understand what's happening here. I'm assuming Members have contacted Evolve UK directly to ask about N18 tunes they have emailed back saying they don't have one. Sooooooo......does that mean you are selling a tune for the N18 in a Evolve group buy which is not an Evolve tune. Just trying to clear things up for those looking at getting the N18 tune. If my interpretation of what I've read is correct who is supplying the N18 tune.

 

We recently came out with it, this is coming straight from Evolve HQ. Whoever you spoke with must of gotten confused with the Evolve-R tune, we do not have a Evolve-R option for the N18, you will have to send it to our US dealers who will be able to do it on a bench.
