No what I'm saying is when this was a new product a select few were trusting enough to purchase this tune. Now after people post how happy they are with said tune others get to purchase it at a lesser rate. Why not take care of the people who first backed your product in the first place?

I have worked in a small family run business for 13 years. If I quoted a new customer a lesser rate than an established customer, it wouldn't go over too well if and when they found out. Maybe its different at your place of employment.

And being one who is saving for a baby, wouldn't you want the best possible price for anything you are buying? Doesn't really matter what it is. Saving money is what its all about, is it not?.

Did you get the tune when it first came out? If so what do you want them to do about the price difference?

If you didn't buy it when it first came out, then buy it now and enjoy an additional 5% off and be happy.

If neither case applies to you, then move along and stop dragging down an established vendor who is much needed in this segment of the MINI market.

We understand where you are coming from, but the fact is that we offered a group buy price back in Oct. Now it is close to December and this was something that the higher ups demanded us to do. If you are really upset about the 5 percent difference please send me a pm. I am willing to work something out, possibly a 5 percent off on hardware or upgrade to tune.

Absolutely agree! I could have waited (who didn't know Black Friday was around the corner) but I chose to buy a few weeks ago.

So basically what you are saying is that you dont know that things go on super mega sale on Black Friday? Cause anybody that has lived in these great United States... in say the last 10 years or so would know that on Black Friday... things go on sale. The fact that your butt hurt over this is ridiculous. The fact that they are willing to work with you on the this though speaks VOLUMES!! to me.

AG - I did buy the tune. Look at page one of this thread. I'm number 7. What bad things did I say about the product or the company? I simply asked a question. I didn't ask for a refund or anything actually? Did you buy the tune? If so how do you feel about it? If not then why are you involved here?

BC rob - I believe you said that the only way you were in on the group buy is if we had enough people to drop it to 15%. You're telling me if you knew the price was dropping 10 days after you ordered on nov 18 you would not have waited? Ok but I find that hard to believe.

DRoc - I know things go on super mega sale on black friday... but when was the last time a group buy product went on greater sale to everyone less than a month later? What was the benefit of joining the group buy? Did you buy one? Again, Why are you involved?

I guess I'm the only one who has ever bought something to see it cheaper in a month and say " damn, that sucks". No one else has ever had that thought? You must all be better people than me. Good for you.

I don't want to ruin this thread with arguments and fights. If you had bought the tune before our black friday sale, please send me a pm. We will provide you with a 5% discount coupon for use on your next purchase. Lets keep this thread clean and move on.

I had a few minutes to play with my new ODB2 connector. I did see 17-18psi on a few 2nd and 3rd gear runs.

Alex, might be hitting you up soon for that 22psi map.

Sent you an email yesterday, just want to make sure you saw it.

Also, do you guys alter any of the ECU data related to coolant temps? I noticed that the car runs rock solid at 226F, which is normal. And that the radiator fan always stays on after shutdown. The Accessport tune did not seem to have the fans run as much after shutdown. But the coolant temps were similar.

Who knows, might just be an oddity I am observing.

sent your tune to our tuner and he is working on it for you. I will ask them about your fan and provide you with an answer tomorrow.

How did you get on, have got your tune yet.

Look at it this way at least you didn't buy it on a 10% discount groupbuy only to see other people getting a 20% discount a couple of weeks later.......Oh damn actually I think you were in the same groupbuy.
