N14/N18 Evolve-R Group Buy

It’s official! Evovle Automotive is back and ready to provide the NAM members with our Evolve-R Group Buy!
http://www.evolveautomotive.com/Prod...s/IMG_8814.jpg
Our engine tuning philosophy is to improve driveability and enjoyment. We do this by giving an increase in power and torque for the whole rev range, and not just a 'glory' BHP figure found at high rpm where you don't spend the majority of your time. Our figures are also very conservative and can easily be replicated on other dynos.

Overview for (n14):
Additional 30-35 BHP and 40-45lb. ft torque (on 93 octane fuel)
Fully developed on dyno and road
Top speed limiter removed
Sharper throttle response and drivability
Flash from the convinces of your home
Return to Stock anytime!

Stage I: Evolve ECU remap provides up to an additional 30 BHP and 45 FT/LBS Torque

Stage II: Evolve ECU remap with Evolve cat back exhaust provides up to 35 BHP and 50 FT/LB Torque

Stage III: Evolve ECU remap and Evolve Downpipe provides

Gotta say, one thing that really gets me. "on 93 octane. we're not tuning on 91 which is what the majority of Americans have the easiest access to as their highest grade fuel, it's ****".

**** or not, it would make a hell of a lot of sense... More people, especially people buying these for their car that is a daily driver first and autocross or track car second, will have easy access to 91 and some almost NO access to 93+. Like me, I am not driving all over town searching for what handful of stations there are with 93. Doesn't make sense to do so when the car runs perfectly fine on 91 and it's a daily driver above all else.

scubbysnacks 10-06-2013 07:16 PM

I'm pretty sure before they send you a tune they ask you what fuel your using as well as any mods.

scubbysnacks 10-06-2013 07:17 PM

Sorry I just read above they don't tune for 91, sorry again.

Evolve Automotive 10-06-2013 07:30 PM

You can run 91 octane, we just have seen issues in the past and just want our customers to know that there are issues that have occured.

We will be doing some tuning and testing with sprintcars and should have some updates on 91 octane.

Mindspin311 10-06-2013 08:00 PM

Very interested. Is there a way to take datalogs using the Evolve-R cable?

scubbysnacks 10-06-2013 08:19 PM

I did read they were working on data logging don't know if they got it working though.

scubbysnacks 10-06-2013 08:40 PM

Ok laddies I'll get the ball rolling

This is for the N14, since some people think it's cool to post periods instead of be informative:lol:. Check out other threads for N18 specific tunes.

InjectedGT 10-06-2013 10:40 PM

I posted periods because I had typed up something that I didn't feel I wanted posted, but it wouldn't let me delete, only edit.

Argh, that's unfortunate. Do you know of any alternatives?

JCW_Coupe 10-07-2013 07:41 AM

what gains for JCW N14's?

BubbaJCW 10-07-2013 07:59 AM

Must be the mobile app!
I can't see where Evolve says what engine?
So how did you come up with the N14?

They didn't !
And Evolve know we need also the N18...

Mindspin311 10-07-2013 08:22 AM

If you want an N18 tune, talk to BMS.

information is above. Cleared up the thread name. We are working on a N18, I will make this a priority to our tuner to provide me with a update. But currently we do not have anything available for it to release

I will like an EUC tune, BMS are doing the gain of power by the MAF. And Evolve know to do a real ECU tune that we all hope will be also for N18.
You guys with N14 are very lucky that a grate company as Evolve can tune your cars.

SPRINTCARS 10-07-2013 09:33 AM

How many people are listed on the group buy so far ?
Come on fellow miniacs !! The more we reach the cheaper it is. We reach 15 that's around 680. Can't find a better tune. With a better company. For that price.

Gonna be that guy.

Just to clarify the 93 octane issue (Evolve is a UK company) - are we talking RON (common in UK) or AKI (common in US)? They are a few points different. 93 AKI isn't even sold near me in the Midwest US. 91 is standard and 92 is hard to find.

DRoc7822 10-07-2013 11:18 AM

If this reaches the 15+ mark then I'd be more interested.
