Helix | Spring Intercooler Group Buy

Now can I get my tracking number too?

Oh course we are expecting what could be the biggest snow of this winter, that Fed Ex truck better have chains!
I had to drive home 30 miles and my car looked like this... on those summer run-flat tires.

It was... interesting... to say the least.
I lived up in the frozen tundra, that's why I'm in Texas now!
Also, I owe some of you an apology who were first to sign up on the list. While shipping the first few intercoolers out the other day, I neglected to look at the order of the purchase numbers.
This mistake of mine, I realize, makes it seem like I shipped to those who signed up later first. These were not my intentions at all. Rest assured that from this point forward, while shipping out the rest of the intercoolers, I will ship in order.
We still have a good bit from the first 20 to polish and pack, but you'll be receiving your intercoolers very soon.
Please email me at rob@helix13.com with any questions or concerns.
Thanks everyone!

I don't mean to pat myself on the back, but I think it was mostly the driver, not the car. The car was horrible in the snow, probably because of the summer compound run-flats. I'm sure with a decent snow tire it would be manageable, but I'm almost positive my girlfriend, mom, grandma, sister or whoever wouldn't have made it home. It's a slippery little bugger.
Since I've been here, yes. I believe last group buy (which included BMW and MINI intercoolers) had a total of 30 sign-ups. This one (solely for MINI) has 39. You all have been great in showing your support for the Helix intercooler and acting as testament to its superior design!

FedEx delivered mine this morning at 11:45AM!

It is now sitting in the garage, unpacked and waiting for me to decide if I can get it installed before our Club run this Sat. I have all the items needed to do this, just hate to think I might miss the run or have to work through the night to get 'er done!

Certainly do not want to rush it!

It sure is purty!!

Just got my tracking number today. Hopefully I'll get to see it in person by next weekend and put it on.
Hopefully the intercooler is on my door step when I get home. OR, my NM engineering wheels arrived, Regardless I don't think I'll install it this weekend but probably next weekend. I feel pretty confident going by Helix's install vid. Is anyone else just using the vid as a guide?

With the exception of those having their Intercooler held here for install, everyone who was part of the first 20 orders should have received an invoice and tracking number.
Please email me if you have not (rob@helix13.com).
Thank you and enjoy!

I just picked up my intercooler from the local FedEx Office where I had it held for pickup.
The intercooler was packaged in a size appropriate box, and then that box was placed in a larger box, surrounded by packing peanuts.
The outer box was undamaged, unfortunately, the inner box was damaged. Which can only lead me to believe it was dropped before it was placed inside the larger box and shipped.
I've attached some pictures.
I'd like to know how someone can drop a 20lb intercooler hard enough to dent it and not know they did it, or at the least bang the thing back into shape before they go ahead at put it into a larger box and then send it to me.
I'm going to bang it back into shape myself, because I know Helix doesn't have any more of them at the present time and I refuse to wait weeks (possibly months) for a new one to be sent to me.

What a nightmare! This is exactly what I was afraid of FedEx actually doing during shipping. Hopefully the good-guys at Helix will take care of you.
