You need to click on the BUY button after Group Buy @ $75.00.

You only pay for the software once. It's not like you pay 1000 every time you go to get tuned. The first initial time yes, after the first visit no. The second time I'll be paying for dyno usage and moving around a couple things after the exhaust is installed.

Hey man, what kind of exhaust are you putting on?

I was looking to add a DP but I honestly see $400-$700 a waste for ONLY 10hp. I think I can manage without it.

I'm not sure. I'm trying to stay away from the CEL throwing DP setups. Might just do catback. I think a fancy DP would void my warranty but mini seems to be ok with me doing catback. At least that's what they said when I bought the car. 700 dollars for 10 horsepower for a mini is a good deal imo.

Have either of you looked at the Milltek Cat-Back? I am and Helix sells them!

Yeah I'm bout to be out of my warranty but I already have my magnaflow muffler and tips, I'm just waiting to put it on at the same time with my I/C. If I were to put a DP I would love to have 15hp at least added for the price of the Akrapovic. But I agree the CEL is a stinker and if I decide to go with NMs tune then that sucks. But if I go with Evolve then different story. What year is your MINI? I heard exhaust depot has a DO for $545 or something and doesn't throw a CEL.

I have. All the sound clips I've seen from them seem to be quieter than the stock exhaust. I'm not trying to sound ricey but def don't want a quieter than stock exhaust. Then again people that record the videos dont tell you if they are in sport mode or not either.

Not really interested after reading a couple threads like this

Would you know if the Milltek and the NM Engineering catback exhaust have comparable performance gains interms of horsepower? If so, is the main difference basically the sound?

Talked to Rob today...

Guess they're still waiting on the packing material to arrive

He said hopefully tomorrow. Was hoping to get this thing installed on Sunday but it may have to wait another week.

Been waiting the better part of a year, part of that was deciding if this was to be my next big mod, so a few more days won't matter!

That's exactly what I told him when I heard the news, since it takes 5 days to get here by ground.
I wonder when they ordered the packing material and why this wasn't mentioned last Friday.

Doesn't really matter. They are kind enough to do the free shipping for us. Plus they don't charge your card till they ship it. Just a little patience. Thank you again everyone at helix for this great deal. And thanks to everyone that went in on it too!

Just to clarify on my own post, I wasn't meaning to complain about Helix or the (insignificant) delay. I was just letting anyone know who might not have been in contact. (and doing just a bit of crying to myself LOL)

Can't wait!

First set of mods for the Bumble Beep are about to be complete!

Craven SS, Black HL/TL rings, blacked out LED tail lights, JCW black grille shell, intercooler muffler delete, and then the Helix FMIC.
