Normally, everyone would pay the remaining balance - $504 - on March 1st (the end of the group buy) or the day the intercooler ships, but some people have been asking to pay it earlier.

Before we charge the remaining balance to the card we have on file (the card you put the deposit down with) we call you to verify that you still want to use that card before charging it.

If you're one of the 20, you'll receive a call before March 1st to verify payment.

And no, there's no payment plan. It's a one-time payment of $504.

It's got to be close to 40 by now, wouldn't you think? Something else, there's a lot of guys on NAM now that have new Roadsters and Coupes ordered in either factory JCW's or S with JCW packages that will be looking more at performance upgrades, so the market is there.

 

I ended up getting the muffler delete on advice from one of the vendors who's a friend of mine (doesn't sell tubes). I' not sure if I should have gotten the Alta or the muffler delete, but I'm impressed with the machining of the muffler delet tube, and I felt that I couldn't afford much more than $100 with the money I'm putting out.

I'm very open to input though.

Also, I dropped into my local MINI emporium - They wanted $2.94/clip! I'll order from Outmotoring for $1.35

Wow! Those clips are only 84 cents at MINI N. Scottsdale, AZ. I picked up a bag of 10 yesterday. I also got a few of those other styles used on the bumper. They were even cheaper.

With such a big turn out and the ship date so close they are probably really tied up over at Helix. He probably won't give us a count till time alows him to sit down and count just the group buy people and sort it from everything else. Can't wait to install this!

Yes, you need to join the group buy by March 1st for the $579 shipped price.

If you purchase this week, you will just have to wait until Helix gets the next batch of intercoolers in, polished up, boxed, and ready to ship. No telling how long that may be. They said they oversold on-hand stock between the first 20 people to get in, and a wholesale order at the same time. My guess is they are going to be awful busy the next several weeks working on Cooper S intercoolers....

 

I'm ready to jump on this...but, I want to make sure this will work on my 2013 S Coupe ( R58 ) and if so, will any mods be needed. I'm hoping not. Let me know and I'll pull the trigger.
