MINI Meets New Friends

My MINI met two new friends on a ride to Markleville.

It was a quiet day in Markleeville

It was a quiet day in Markleeville. The store keeper checked the road conditions for me. Sonora and Tioga passes were closed due to snow the night before.

The Minis friends were lagging

I looked back down the road but the MINIs new friends were lagging. Something besides Motoring was occupying their time. The fall colors sure were pretty.

Monitor Pass was looking good

On the way up the road was still a bit damp from the nights rain, but it was clean and looking good.

Ebbets Pass is a nice road

Earlier I came over Ebbets Pass. A fine piece of road.

The Lodge at Lake Topaz

I stayed at the lodge at Lake Topaz so I was nice and close to the roads.

Thanks for the comments. Yes I did have an adventure. But it didn't end with Motoring the mountains. I went to the Reno-Fernley Raceway and the MINI met even more new friends.

I will come to San Antonio sometime after this year to check out UTSA...every time we go there, we stop at Rudy's in Leon Springs...Last time I saw a white MCS and an M3 both with euro plates
