Texas Hill Country drive
Texas Hill Country drive

I thought a post a picture of a recent trip we took from Houston. Ronald was the organizer (white Mini), so we all took off for the back curve roads.....
This is was the first time I really pushed the car, (2200 miles current) and I could not stop grinning

Andyde,
Nice classic picture of MINIs in an old Tex-West town.

How many miles was the run? Only the three of you? That must have been a lot of fun. Do you have a route map to share? Ah, lots of questions, I do wish I could run some of the Texas roads sometime.

The picture was in fact taken at a very old town somewhere in Washington county, can't recall the name of the town. I loved the look of the old post office building as a background.Ronald (miniplay) came up with a map taking us out of Houston into Brehnan and near Sommerville Lake, some the curvy roads were simply amazing.
It was only the three of us from the local club that actually made the sunday morning drive; my wife and I had to bail out early due to afternoon appointments. We clocked 200 miles on the trip and the MCS handled it beautifully. I will be more than happy to email you the route.
Here a couple of more pic's..
