I like them too, but I don't think my girlfriend would go for dressing up like "Robin" every time we go for a drive.

I owned an S52 M Coupe (black batmobile) before my first MCS. Car was killer, but just not very practical as my only ride.

The B5 S4 Avant was still my best ride. Mini is a good second. I saw the Z on here and I had one of those too, but was never that really impressed with it. Really big. Very reliable though....

Will probably go back to a S4 avant some day if gas prices ever get reasonable again....

Thanks for looking!
You should be aware (if it's not too late) that all red anodizing fades in the sun. I have nevers seen it persist. Paint is a bit better if high quality, especially with UV inhibitors.

Done!

Well, in case anyone was hanging around to see if I was actually going to do it...I did! It is getting dark out and it just rained so the picture isn't the best in the world...plus the tires are brand new (205/45-R17 Yokohama Parada Spec 2) so they still have the stupid dots on them.

After they were installed I knew the white mirrors would have to go...wow, what a difference the black mirrors made! I think it made the car flow a little better and it looks a lot cleaner now.

Anyway, I'm pretty happy...the picture really doesn't do it justice.

...I know, I know...it'd look better if it was lowered.

Sorry...I've been a member for a couple years now and still don't know how to post pics...here's my attempt

I think it looks great! As long as the red paint doesn't fade, you're set! I wish I could pony up for some new wheels.

Thanks MINIFVR...I'll have to keep some kind of protector on the wheels and park it in the garage to save the red lip!
