Sorry for the confusion on this topic folks.

Here at the TireRack, we have a phone system that only recognises 1st names. When I was hired (moons ago) I had to choose an alias because my given name, Alex was allready taken. I chose Dan.

Alex

"...lessen the supply of Dans" Hummm, that sounds rather ominious. I'm glad I'm not a Dan

Okay Alex.... .... Two days ago I sent an email to dan@tirerack.com requesting some rather specific help choosing a tire. I've not yet gotten a response. Did you, Alex, get that email? Did someone really named Dan get that email? Or did it go to that place where emails just vanish, never to be seen again?

Who ever you are, thanks for all the help here on MCO!

Cheers,

James

Lets face it Sting is the coolest name...I mean, he named himself a verb, present tense. cause he's not stung, he's not stinging....he's STING. Who has the ***** to tell their friends to call them sting...his real name is Gordon...and he changes it to Sting. At one point he had to remind them...excuse...um....can you... call me...Sting.

Sorry, Dana Carvey was just in my CD player...lol

I do recive both Dan and Alex Emails at this point in time. Your email was rather detailed, and I have been rather busy. I do my best to respond with the same degree of detail, that acounts for the delay. I will be emailing you very soon.

With specific concerns and details, I actually prefer email, wich makes our board posts more consice, and easy to navagate. (I do really appricate the emails)

I picked "Dan" because I figured it would be easy to say, and understand. On a daily basis I heard "Stan? Van? Vance? even as far as Anne? and Janet? Its not a middle, or family name. I personally hope there wont be another name change. I am VERY happy where I am

Alex

Many thanks Alex. Did not mean to imply you were delinquent in replying to my email; just worried it might have gotten lost in the name change. I would rather wait patiently for a well thought out answer than get a "rushed" answer straight away. Looking forward to your advice.

Cheers,

James

Alex,

Yesterday I just purchased a set of tires from Tirerack online. It asked the name of the sales person, so I said "dan@tirerack.com". I'm not sure if you guys work off commission, but since you have helped us out, I figure you should get something. I hope your system works off the e-mail.

I've got a question regarding the bolts on the OZ SUPERLEGGERA wheels. I was able to get a 16" set for my MCS to be delivered, hopefully next month. Do they use the same bolts as the original? If not, do you guys carry and sell that stuff?

Ok then, thanks for the clarification Alex, and re-Welcome to MCO. Tire Rack's sponsorship is highly valuable here!

by the way, I just ordered a set of H&R springs for my MCS on Wednesday, they got to my doorstep on Thursday, the next day!!! I was blown away, Awesome Service!

Motor-On!

I did recive your order, and thank you. We do have Superlegera to fit in 16,17,18 inch diameters. I expect them in May back in stock, per a long backorder with OZ
