Bolts for Rota Slipstreams

I just got off the phone with 18racing and a new set of 15x7 Rota Slipstream wheels in proper 40mm offset and 56.1mm hub will be sent to me first thing tomorrow morning. Jessica from 18racing did not have any bolts to sell me, only nuts, but she thought that the stock bolts would do the job.

Can anyone confirm that I can use the stock wheel bolts on the 15x7 40mm 56.1mm hub Slipstreams?

I am also thinking about a conversion kit to studs, any recommendations on type, length, vendor? Thanks!

You should be able to use the stock bolts. I am on my current 16x7 Rota SS AX wheels and have no issues. Only difference other than size is mine have the aluminum 67.1/56.1mm hub centric rings. As soon as the rubber is gone I'll intend to drop down to the same 15x7 wheels you have.

I also want to eventually change over to studs.

I've used the stock bolt - and I have a set of Chromed bolts i used to give some contrast to the Balck wheels and Black tires.

I've got 16" SS. The stock bolts workrd just fine. Personally, I made the change to studs to make tire swapping easier.

Check the torque every few days after you mount them. 80 ft-lbs is a good number. But you'll find that they loosen up a bit as the aluminum work hardens with use and you don't want your lugnutz loose.

Switched Over To Stud Conversion From Pilo When I Installed My Rotas. So Far So Good. Might Want To Consider The Spline Type Lug Nuts They Will Provide More Clearance To The Rims.

Yes but make it easier on yourself and get a lug conversion kit from PILO
