Would black wheels go on this car? Right now it has the 17" white wheels and it looks nice. I'm thinking of getting different wheels, but there aren't too many white wheels out there.

What do you guys think?

 

I'm a big fan of black wheels...I've seen black wheel on CR/W and it looked hot, but it had and aero kit also.

Nice Picture!!! I also have the CR/W MCS and have considered black wheels. Car in photo is outstanding.

 

I like black/dark wheels on any of the colors, there is enough black on the Mini built in elsewhere (window pillers, trim, etc) to pick up on it no matter what the roof color is.

 

I think black wheels would look very hot with the red/black or red/white combo. It really brings the look all together. I went with black with my pepper white and am very happy .

 

You know what I'm noticing, that the black mirrors go well with the black wheels. I think I'm going to d oit and get some kind of mirror covers or paint the mirrors black.

One more question. Where can I get the black grills? This looks almost like my car except I have 4 5 1/4" hellas instead of the smaller stock lights (and the wheels and body kit)

 

grilles are stock OEM aero grilles

aero kit obiviously a MINI body kit

those are 19' HRE wheels... find your local wheel store see if they can order HRE, but be prepared to spend...... the aero stuff u can get through dealer or classic

i love my black wheels too btw, it is a white roof, so it will give u some idea, just replace my ds with ur cr

 

Well, there's no way I'm puttign 19" wheels let alone HRE's on my car. That's just too much money to bend.

I'll probably stick with something out of edgeracing or tirerack. I've found some nice black wheels through them.

Will the grills fit in a regular Mini bumper?

 

aero grilles will fit, the upper is a straight swap, the middle though is not...
