Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

Thanks Alex.....you got the same results as I did.

Should have tried Wheelmax instead of Wheel Max when I tried searching.

Cheap, heavy wheels and poor customer service.

Inexpensive, good looking and quality wheels - much lighter than stock. Very good customer service. This is from an actual purchase, not BS.

Lighter and good looking does not a good wheel make ...
having bought and used similar copy cat wheels from another vendor, i can tell you from my experience is that "you get what you paid for"

Well, I bought mine from Wheelmax too because what I wanted was not to be had at tirerack. I wanted flat black wheels and looked everywhere until I stumbled upon Wheelmax. Customerservice was perfectly good, the wheels arrived as promised and were packaged nicely, and the total price of $800 for mounted, balanced and shipped wheels and tires was very sweet.
I'd recommend them.

Yeah, well, maybe if I was on a race track, or in a car show, I would care about the name, or saving another couple pounds, or the exact look and bling factor. They happen to be really good looking wheels that are perfect on the street for me, and we have really nice roads.

I got exactly what I paid for, as I stated above. They are cast the same way other wheels are, with a different name on it. I really couldn't care less.

So what was your experience exactly?

And the reason I didn't buy from tirerack or anyone else for that matter, is they didn't have the wheel I liked, and the price for similar packages wasn't even IN THE BALLPARK! I got the set with new ES100's for $936 shipped, in perfect shape!

Cheap wheels that bend easy, had a set of excel E2's on my car. Bent the hell outta all 4 . Now i have Raching Hart C5's on there and love em. Bought them from WheelsNext. And Wheelmax gave me the run around on another set so I bought from WheelsNext.

What did you hit to bend 4 rims? Have you hit the same thing with your new rims?

First rim was a pot hole, which i have hit many with my new wheels with goin in and out of baltimore with no bends at all. And the one that hit the pot hole was the right front and then rear right had a small flat spot from the same, and the other two were from an accident so i should have corrected myself and said 2 in reality because the other ones on the left were from the accident.

Oh and the tires that are on my Racing Harts are lower profile too.

Well luckily my roads are pothole free, so I don't need a super tough set of wheels, so I can save the cash

It's funny how people exagurate on the internet...

I've bent forged wheels on the street. There are many factors that cause a bend; speed, aspect ratio, psi, inclination to the pothole, shape and depth of the pothole, suspension set-up and tire construction.

Forged BBS RGRs with Kumho 712s at 36 psi at 80mph...anything will bend under the right circumstances.

3 out of 4 wheels bent and finish damaged by winter salt in about 1 year of driving in NY.

OEM MINI wheels stand up to these roads much better ...

What wheels were they, and what did you hit to bend 3 rims?

I don't know why people say things like 'oh they are cheap, they bent' - expecting us to just believe - what - that you went out one morning to find them all bent up?

When you hit something bad enought o bend a WHEEL, it doesn't matter WHAT wheel it is - you shouldn't have hit it!

Under NORMAL dirivig conditions, i.e. you aren't hitting things like big potholes, curbs, etc. - there is no issue. I suppose if one were inclined to drive in such a way that these types of obsticles are normally hit - sure go for whatever beefy wheel you have to.

I don't hit things like that...the Wheelmax wheels are awesome!

like you mentioned earlier, you live in a place with good roads everywhere. suburbia with no traffic and plenty of reaction time is paradise ... major city traffic ... good luck.

Plus I use my MINI for work as well ... not just to lean back and floss and whistle at chickas

Try driving on the Brooklyn/Queens Expressway, here in NY, on a daily basis.

they did not all bend at once, it was over some time I noticed some vibration in the steering and when I have them checked ... 3 out of 4 wheels were bent.

Bottom line ... cheap wheels + major city roads = waste of money

EDIT: BTW ... they were 17" Flik Wasps from Edge Racing ... thank God the Toyo Proxes 4 I got with them are fantastic tires.
