SSR Competions are on!
>>Very nice. Did you weight the old setup? You should have saved more than 13#s. I saved 16# per corner.

Saved 11.4 lbs. per corner; lost 12 lbs via the wheels but gained .5 lbs via the tires.
I struggled between getting 16" and 17" wheels in order to save more weight, but in the end I decided on the 17" wheels because many tests have shown that this is about the ideal size for maximizing traction, plus they should fit with any brake upgrade that I might be interested in later on.

I'm surprised you gained in tire weight. Did you go to non runflat's, because they should be lighter than stock runflat's?

WOW! They really show a lot of brake rotor, very sweet looking. Heres a question to keep us posted on, how quick do they get dirty? I have the S lites, and they are just covered with brake dust after a couple of days.

Yeah, the Pirelli runflats are only 22lbs each; very light! There are very few 17" tires in our sizes that are lighter. The Yokos are a .5 lbs heavier, but they are also 10mm wider; a reasonable trade off.
