Toyo Praxis Tires - Any experience or opinons ?

Thinking of Toyo Praxis nonrunflat tires on my MCS on 16 inch rims for softer ride. Anyone have experience with Toyo Praxis tires?

I put Toyo Proxes T1s from Edge Racing on this spring and have been very happy with them so far. This is my second set of tires on the MINI and the Toyos are a great improvement over the runflats as well as the GF Goodrich KDWs I had on last year. The Toyos stick well, they are light, and for $102 each they are a good deal.

We have the Proxy 4's on the Audi, for an all-season, they are good.

I just put a set of Proxes 4s on on my S and had trouble keeping them balanced. I would suggest that you buy locally to avoid a hassle...

buying Toyo Praxis locally.

I'm buying Toyo Praxis tires locally from Radial Tires, a great plae that is owned by race drivers and has been in business over 25 years. Best service. Don't expect problems. Just wondering about the best all season nonrunflat 16's to put on my S.

If you are looking for all season then you will want the Proxes (not Praxis) 4s. The T1s is a great summer tire wet or dry, but its no good in any kind of snow.

I went through a couple sets of the Toyo Proxes on my honda and HATED them! when they started to wear they roared like a 4X4, I contact Toyo and they did not want to do a thing about them either.

I've been running the Proxes 4 for about 35K now and love them. Preform great, and do well in all types of road conditions. I'm about to order another set this month. I'm running the 17's and the ride is just fine.

Proxes 4

I have had the Proxes 4 on 205-50/16 on my MINI for about a year. They work well in the rain and are fine in very light snow and stick fairly well on dry pavement as well; generally far better than the stock runflats. However, they have gotten progressively louder in time, and they annoy me now. I'm not sure I would get them again, might try the new Pirelli P Zero Nero all-season next. The 205-50/16 size is definitely a perfect fit for the stock 16" wheels, though.
