Hey guys was just wondering if anyone has experience with the Sparco FF-1 15x7 and R56 front brakes? I have a race r53 with r56 front brakes. We know the Enkei PF01's are confirmed to fit but before I ordered those I figured I'd ask about these since they're lighter and cheaper. Thanks for any help!
They fit! And look great way nicer than expected. Great value for anyone looking for a light autox or track wheel. Perfect for cheap spec miata take off hoosiers!
Why did you go with 15x7 vs the 15x8 Sparcos? Are you really running 195/60-15?

I couldn't go wider than 7 inches per class rules. I was running 205/50/15 spec miata or b-spec tires. Funny enough I recently switched classes so I just switched to the 15x8 et25 and they fit perfectly. I have run both 225/45/15 and 245/4015. Handling is crazy with the 245s lol...here's a pic with 225s and 15mm spacers:
Just be careful with the wheel weights. They will clear regardless of where they are placed but will literally melt off from the caliper heat!
@uffitz56 i don’t *think* I’d need spacers because my suspension is stock, so the inner rim of wheels should not contact anything. We know it’ll clear the brakes, even if I upgrade to R56S.
What I don’t know for sure is, when my suspension compresses, will the tire hit my stock (unflared and untrimmed) wheel well.
I'm guessing it will work - but I’m definitely getting mixed advice!

Yea if you're unflared and untrimmed you will definitely rub. I would recommend the 15x7's with 5mm spacers and 205/50/15 - perfectly flush and didn't rub at all.
I **think** I’ve landed on the setup that allows 225/45-15, fits R56S brakes and should have no rubbing issues on a stock suspension setup:
Sparco FF1 26.4 poke (25et)
Enkei RPF1 23.4 poke (28et) Konig Hypergram 16.4 poke (35et)

I think this is exactly what I'm going to go with.
Just to 100% confirm @uffitz56 - your brakes are R56S with 284 rotors - is that correct?
I confirmed that the Konigs will not fit / clear R56S brakes, so, based on your findings and recommendations, I've got this in my cart right now:
294mm but yep that will be a good setup! Plus any choice of spacer - I have used up to 15mm with them. Definitely do the stud conversion if you haven't already. Pull the trigger lol you won't be disappointed I have 4 sets now! (two 15x8 with 245 hoosiers and two 15x7's with 205 hoosier wets and 200tw tires for testing/track days)
I swear I fit my 15x8 ET25 dekagrams on my R56S before without brake interference. Only issue was what looked like multiple inches of poke (though the car was in the air, so it might tuck in as the wheel comes up). Now I want to check again to make sure I'm not losing my mind lol.
I was hoping they'd be close enough to fit with a 225/50R15 R888R so I could slap one of my sets of e30 autox wheels on my R56 this year.
