Front Brake Pads and rotors help
So, I have a 2009 Base Mini Cooper Hatchback(R56 NON-S)
I want to replace the brake pads and rotors and stumbled upon a few errors. My model year is 2009 but my production year is 11-2008 and I was on eBay, I looked it up as a 2009 Mini Cooper but when I check for compatibility, it says in the notes that it’s from September 09 to 2010 and it confuses me because now I’m not sure if it’s my mini. I went to realoem and put my mini, along with the production date and it has the part number that is also on the eBay brake pads but it’s as a interchange part number, not the manufactor part number. It’s all so confusing. I wanted to get some “better than OEM” brake rotors and pads but I can’t seem to find them for my mini. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. I replaced my rear brake pads and rotors with some autozone and O’Reillys parts but I want something at least oem or better like Brembo brakes and redstuff pads but I’m just a daily commuter not looking for super performance just good brakes lmao thanks again if anyone even made it this far

Slotted and drilled are really for the look anymore. With these pads we have actually found they last longer and are quieter on plain face rotors. This is what I run on my personal car.
