g-Force T/A KDW-2

Is anybody running KDW-2 tires, particularly in a 16" size? I know Normalizer has them (17") and has good things to say about them. I really like the tread pattern and the Tire Rack owner reviews have been positive. Grippy and responsive, but a little pricey IMHO. Standard tire on the Neon SRT4.

Deciding between the BFGs, Yoko ES100, Kumho MX, and Toyo T1S or Proxes 4.

Throw in the SO3 and P-Zero Nero and you have my deilemma.

Tirerack consensus on the BFG appears to be an excellent tire, but loud. I'm not sure what "loud" is however.

I don't put much stock (if any) into the 1010tire, 1 poorly constructed line review. They rarely even mention what vehicle they have, any previous tires or miles driven like most Tirerack reviews have.

I had the ES100s on my previous E30 BMW, great tire and very light. I think on a lighter car like the MINI or E30 (the E30 was 2900lbs) this is one of the best tires when factoring price & performance. On a heavier car I may shy away from it.

but I still have time to choose summer tires for next year. Hell, my MCS isn't going to even be built for a few weeks!

My 2cents.

I have these in 17" and do not notice any noise. Maybe I'm just going too fast

Just ordered a set of these a few days ago from Tire Rack.
They look good from the reviews, so thats what I went on. Also, I remember seeing something about them on NOPI Tunervision.

Not concerned about the noise. These will mounted on extra wheels for the track. (But they might stay on all the time though )
I think the noise may add to the fun factor.
I can give an opinion when I get them mounted next week... can't wait.
