My NEW Rotas

I need to control my impulse spending, it's draining my wallet.

Went from this, Rota Circuit 8:

To this, Rota Attack:

Same dimensions as before 15X6.5, only with a 40mm offset now, wrapped them in brand new tires (205-50 ES100s just like before). It needs some centercaps badly. The ones that came with it are a disaster, they're fake carbon fiber painted, and since I don't put non-functional carbon ricer crap on my car there's no way it's getting anywhere near my new wheels. I just want a flat, solid black cap to cover the middle. Anyway, I gotta paint the calipers black, get some window tint and maybe the aerokit grille pieces and then I'm done with the exterior.

BTW, if anyone's interested, the old wheels are for sale: Click here

thanks for looking and tell me what you think:smile:

Outstanding combination! Car looks real cool. You must have lowered it as there is not much of a fender gap. It still doesn't look like it is dragging the ground by any means. Does anyone know what the Yoko 205/50/15's weigh? I've seen statistics that show the 16's weigh maybe 21 lbs or so if I remember right, but don't specify the 15's.

you could just paint the area where the centercap usually goes.

Nice. The black/polished looks good on your car.

Why not just paint the center caps?

You can get center cap "decals" that cover up the center cap with vinyl. They can say any word you want, or just be a plain color. Check out www.edecals.com if you want to get some. (I don't work for the company...just putting the options out there)

Sweet! I'm going to get some of those to replace the dorky center caps on my Rotas.

You can use some duplicolor- engine enamel flat black paint.

I painted my hub with that and looks great (since I don't use center
caps either).

MISFITOY painted his hub using some cool metal finish.

I couldn't find the high-temp paint, just got the standard Duplicolor. Looks a lot cleaner now, hopefully it'll hold up well over time. I guess even if it starts to flake off, I can just take the wheel off and respray.
