Opinions Wanted

I have a DS/BLK MCS and would like to get opinions on both the fit and look on the black Flik Bullet-C 17x7 ET 42 with Falken Ziex Ze-512 215/40R17 tires. I plan on using H-Sport springs which will lower the car Approx. 1". I would also like to hear from anyone who has used thses tires for a while. Thanks for the feedback!

I was hoping someone would have a pic with them on a Mini...I like them even more now that I have seen them on the car!

Awesome wheels. I like them on the CR/blk MINI, but I'm not sure they'd look good on all color combos. What color is your MINI?

SoCalMini - take twomini's picture, save it on your harddisk, open it with a picture/paint software and change it to grayscale. There's your gray with black top simluation.

That red mc's wheels look like either 18's or 19's though.

SoCalMini,
You should be fine. The Falkens are good street/performance tires for less money. Not as good performance/track/autocross as the Goodyear Eagle F1 DS-G3 or Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position S-03 but much less expensive.

Look at that nice picture posted by TwOMINIs
See there is a bonnet scoop but the side marker light is orange and the gas cap cover is red.
MCS or MC?
Here are more pictures-

Nice MC with aerokit and big brake kit.

Here's a quick Photochopped version to give you an idea what it might look like:

It's dark silver with the black top.

Thanks for the photoshop work...that did help! also answered another indecision I had ...anthracite or black. I think I like the color seperation the black will give, not to mention the brake dust being much less obvious!
Do you think with that offset and 215/40's they will fit well?

42mm offset is what i use on my SSR comps...so yes, 215/40 should fit
just fine.

btw, that pict shows a very agressive drop....your car with 17's
and just a H-sport lowering will not be anything close to that pict.

should look pretty sharp though.

Where are you planning to get your wheels? I have a DS/B MCS and that is a great look! I have been on the fence WRT wheels, but the more I read how heavy the S-lites/runflat combo is, I think they may soon be on my shopping list.

won't be as extreme as the red mini, but still should be more aggresive looking and acting than the stock with run flats!.....the only place I have found to buy the Fliks rims from is www.edgeracing.com if anyone knows of another place I would love to see a price comparison. The whole line of Fliks look real nice and are reasonably priced.
