i still doing some research will my 8" et45 wheel can fit on 225 40 18 PSS tires.hopefully can fit without issue

Been reading this thread in the hopes of finding info on decent cheap 17" wheel and size for reasonably light, dedicated track setup for stock sprung MCS. Was thinking Nitto NT-01 probably in 215 width (cheap, wear like iron, decent grip, I have thousands of track miles on them in other car).
I'm guessing Enkei and other sub-$200 wheels are cast -- opinions on these for track? For example, if Kosei made the cheapo K1 in compatible version I'd do it since they're such a known quantity at the track, but they always end up cracking, and are considered throw-away after a few seasons of track use.
I'm guessing widest without risking some rubbing during track conditions would be a 7.5" with a 215 series tire, with stock camber and suspension?
Not looking to go down the rabbit hole with an extensive build, been there, done that.
Suggestions?

I'm looking at wheels that are 17x7.5 40et. I believe they poke almost exactly the same as your 17x8 45et setup, just slightly less. No rubbing issues at all after lowering?

The aim is to combine Clubsport Suspension & 225/235 with a classy retrolook, the tire size is helpful to handle power above to catapult the car into another league.

Just got back from getting my wheels/tires mounted. Crappy cellphone pics, but I like the looks of the wheels. Konig Oversteer 17X8 et45 with Goodyear Eagle F1 summer tires 215/45X17

For those of you who have the 18x8 45et setup, Is there enough space to go 1mm in towards the strut? I found an 18x8 wheel with 46et. I was looking at R99's pics showing the space between the strut and the wheel, and it looked very tight.
Also, anyone recommend coil overs that will maintain a safe distance from the 8" width wheel?

ADMIN: I believe this thread needs to stay within the 3rd gen sub-forum. The F-chasis has wheel specs unique to it. Placing it under "minis in general" will just cause redundant wheel threads to start popping up in the 3rd gen sub-forum

I am looking at summer tires and rims and, as you would expect, I'm here to get an opinion on fit. I've found a set of 18x8 et35. My concern is rubbing on the wheel well with factory suspension. Tire's I'm guessing will be a 205/40/18.

The wheels I'm looking at are Advanti FS Fastoso. I found them close to where I live. The gentleman had them on a VW CC. I just want to make sure that they will fit. They will poke almost an inch beyond the stock 16 inch rims. The price is right, but wasting his time and mine doesn't seem right.
