It can be confusing huh? You will get some more F56 JCW specific help in the 3rd Generation Sub-Forum

If you're ordering custom wheels they may want to know some specifics about the brake setup.

Are there any visual differences between the JCW and non-JCW RSe12? Is one any more concave than the other?

Has anyone gone without the tpms sensors on their new wheels? Just curious how annoying the tachometer/dash warnings are.

I went without. If you have nav, you have to press the iDrive button on every time you get in and start the car. The TPMS light on the tach flashes for a few seconds, then stays solid. I have the Heads Up Display, so I barely even notice it.

jumping in on this thread. been reading it since it started but since i wasnt' ready for wheels, i didn't post...now that i'm tracking the car about 6-12 times a year, i need to up my setup (as well as track/summer tires).

i'm torn in the sense that i like aesthetics just as much as tracking her, so my wheel would need to cater to both sides of the spectrum.

my current ideal setup is as follows:
18x8 ET45 on 215/40's. Wheels TBD and Tires are the R-S3's.

seems i shouldn't be concerned with spacers. FWIW, i'm on NM Springs as well.

There's an 18x7.5 RPF1 that would fit. That's always a good aethestics / track wheel.

that's the one on the list currently. wanted to put together 3 wheels and then decide.
downside of the RPF1's is that so far, i don't believe they'd fit the BBK. not that the plan is to get them, but it's good to know that if i have my options down the road, my wheel/tire combo is already prepared for it.

now if i'm wrong, please correct me!

I don't think I've seen anyone actually try one yet. I was under the impression that RPF1s had pretty good clearance for brakes but I don't have anything to back it up :(

same here. if you look though at RyanS's TS9 setup, you'll see he barely has space, but fits the BBK...and those spokes poke out so much more than the RPF1's....difference also being the TS9's are 8" wide and the RPF1's are 7.5".

for whoever has the RPF1's, what is the measurement from rotor to the spoke...i believe we need a clearance of 2-1/2". i know it was documented somewhere but i can't find it. if someone does know, reply and i'll make the edit on my thread.

How many mm of space is there between the stock JCW wheels and JCW brembo calipers? Looks like a very very tight fit from factory for the F-Gen?

Nice pic. Waaay off topic, so I'm sorry, but do you or anyone else know what I'm doing wrong on the "attachment" section? I have some incredible pics with my wheel set up (see my sig below), AND I have my pics on the iPad I'm using now, but it won't let me "browse" my computer for pics. You know that first section where I'm SUPOSSED to be able to add a attachment (just some simple pics), but the selection button is NOT highlighted. I can't figure why it's not highlighted!!

Thank you! If you go into a quote or advanced reply, there is under the additional options a section called "manage attachments" from there you can select photos from your library and upload!

Well, I'm going back to the Speedline 348s. It's just too hard to find wheels that fit this damn car. I realized it was ridiculous to put them on my w124 when I could choose almost literally any wheel for it. So back to the MINI for them and now I'm looking for something ridiculously wide for the Benz.
