ASA Wheels from Tire Rack

Has anybody purchased ASA wheels from Tire Rack? Any comments on ASA wheels in general? On 16" ASA AR1 in particular? Does the OEM MINI center cap fit these wheels or is there a MINI logo cap available?

Thanks, but wasn't intertested in the vendors opinion of one of the product lines they sell. Was interested in hearing from consumer of the product.

I haven't seen anyone running those wheels on here..and everyone that deals with Alex praises him for how helpful he is. Its at least worth a shot to see if the center cap will swap over

Can't answer the center cap question but I had ASA AR1's on my '04 MCS in 2006/2007 and had great luck with them. I bought them from TR.

I've had the AR1s on my '06 since the week after I took delivery in early '07. They are still looking great. No troubles. Sorry, I can't answer the center cap question either.

I have 17" ASA AR3s on my cooper. Put them on back in 2010 and they still look as good as the day I bought them. If I had to do it all over again I would still buy them, but maybe in 16" as the ride is a little rough on 17". I LOVE the way they look though.

I have 17 inch ASA AR1 chrome wheels. They are great and originally a susidiary of BBS. They were/are licensed by BBS. And....no the oem mini center caps will not fit. You will also need centering rings. If you Google ASA Wheels you will see alot of them used on BMW's.

Thanks, Tire Rack provided the centering rings with the wheels. They are very good about that sort of thing.

Got mine in the mail yesterday and put them on. They are slightly smaller than the ASA center caps but look okay. They certainly cover the ASA logo but the wording around the circumference shows slightly. You can't really see that unless you get up close. The adhesive on the back of them didn't appear to be super strong, so I will see how well they stay on over time. If the come off, I'll order another set and use some stronger adhesive.

Would it be possible to remove the ASA center cap logo, clean it up and then apply the new Mini cap logos?
