Need recommendation on pads for StopTech rotors...

I just aquired a car with large StopTech brakes on the front. It is currently running new Hawk HP+ pads and they are noisier than anything. I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion on what type of pads to run that will stop great but won't be very dusty and noisy.

These are my first set of aftermarket brakes and don't really know how it works. I obviously assume that I'll need StopTech specific brake pads correct? Where do I buy?

Any help is appreciated.

Stoptech street performance pads. Call stoptech to get the right pad shape for your calipers.

I have them on my OEM calipers and they are fantastic. Quiet, good feel, good performance, low-ish dust.

Man, I don't even know what 'shape' or type of calipers I have!

If they're big calipers that say stoptech on them, then they're the Stoptech ST-40's.

Unless they're reeeeally big 6 piston ones, but I don't think they have those for the Mini, only the 4 piston.

Thanks for the help Drew! Maybe I'll snap a picture of them if they say they have more than one version but I can't image a 6 piston on a MINI.

Stoptech = awesome! I wish I had a set on my car.

So, do they make pads for 1st gen JCW calipers?
