I don't know what color "CR/W" is, but basic flat black goes with almost anything. It's also the only color that the 6.5X16" Slipstream (legal for SCCA stock classes) comes in.

CR/W = Chili Red with White Roof/Mirrors. And it's not true that 16x6.5 is only flat black. It also comes in white, silver, gunmetal, gray...etc.

Check out this site for more colors - http://www.18racing.com/wheel_slipstream.html They also have very good prices. Note that you will need hubcentric rings to make them fit on your MINI.

I recently got a set of 17x7.5 in flat black.

Also the guys in this thread - https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...o-hatches.html paired up black wheels with a CR/W MINI and I think it looks pretty nice.

See my gallery for pics of white 16x6.5, no rings required.

Thanks for the input guys. I still love the flat blacks. Your whites look really nice! Maybe someone will post up some gunmetals or bronze.

My mistake on the flat black only claim, but good to know that 6.5X16s Slipstreams come in different flavors.

I had just been at fastmini.net and all they offered in that size Slipstream was flat black, and ET40. To be legal in SCCA HS, one would probably need the ET45 Slipstream anyway (the OE wheel had an ET48).

Well shiver me timbers; I went to an autocross last Sunday and saw a set of white 6.5X16" Rota Slipstreams for sale. They were shod with Kumho V710s in size 215/40/16.

The white Rotas I saw for sale came off a CR/W MCS, and they looked good on his car. Black wheels may look better if you had black roof/mirrors. Black wheels hide dirt and brake dust better, but hairline cracks might be harder to spot as well.
