Last year I dumped my 17" Crown Spoke wheels (and run-flat tires) for 16" Rota RBs and a set of Potenzas (non-run-flat). I wanted the "look" of the smaller wheels, and hoped the slightly wider side wall of the 16-inch tires would take the twitch & jump out of the ride.
Mission accomplished.
I ordered mine through FastMINI.net
http://www.fastmini.net/rotarb.html
and I think they can beat your current $700 price.
The offset is basically the depth of the wheel in relation to the hub. The 4x100 is the bolt pattern common to most MINIs.
The Rota RB wheels are the closest you can get to real Minilite wheels, which would cost you four-times as much.

+1 for FastMini.net. Great customer service from Dan, he was patient with all of my questions and answered via PM quickly. Shipping was fast to NJ as well, I definitely did not wait long for them to arrive. Check my gallery for a bigger sig pic.
