lol - yeah, just took a trip up winding Rt 6 along the coast and we have perfect SC weather right now. No clouds, sea level, low humidity, light variable winds, 70's....needless to say perfect MINI driving weather

I am running 215/45/17 on my 07. Great tire, I recently finished a 3600 trip from Colorado to NC. 
Great tire, low road noise, but it depends on the road surface.
Not anything like a RF, very compliant and they stick well, Dragon tested.

I replaced the run flats with these about 1 year ago. Too many potholes in the northeast this past winter got the better of one tire when a bubble developed in the sidewall. I bought another 2 and have 1 as an extra in case I need it.
I really like them. They are a good tire in the snow and rain and excellent when its dry. And they are pretty inexpensive.
I do not know what the correct tire pressure should be. I keep them at 35psi and that seems to work for me.

I have had 215/40-17 Nitto NeoGens on my '02 MCS for about 8 months now. Very good handling, low noise, good in the wet, but not a track tire. The low price scares some people off. Several people in our local SCMM club have bought them on my recommendation.
I just got a set of these swapped on, on Friday. First impressions they are definitely softer than runflats, and dont send a sharp pain up your spine on every little bump (mind you im lowered).
I've got them based on recco's from other MINI drivers. However, with my experience for the first 200 miles so far, the car seems to wallow now, almost as though theres no rear sway bar. If I turn my wheel one way then the other, I feel the whole car is swaying and transfering way too much weight. I'm not sure what it is, but after talking to two people who owned them locally on their minis, they said it goes away after 3-400 miles... as theres an outer layer on the tire that needs to be worn off.
I'm hoping for the best and really hope my car doesn't handle like this for the life of these tires.
I did go from a 205/40/18 to a 215/45/17, so I did gain a little bit on my sidewall, but from driving other cars with larger sidewalls, it shouldn't feel this wallow-y

The GP had 205/40-18 RFs, while in Philly, got a set of 17 R98s with 215/40-17 and dealt 100 percent better with potholes. While retaining the crisp turn-in and communicative steering response.

I had pretty much the same experience as Boston did - only I would not describe it as wallowing - to me it just wasn't as solid on turn in - in fact it was almost too crisp - too quick. However, it wasn't a bad tire for the price and it had a lot of grip and was fairly quiet.
My first choice still remains the Kumho ASX, very smooth, very quiet, very progressive and easy to drive - very consistant turn in. Not the best in snow, but then we don't get that much snow here anyway - when we do I drive my Audi allroad quattro.

Thanks to all in this thread and two other threads I found on the Nitto NeoGens. Based on all the praise I picked up a set in 215/45/17 ...and so far so good. They seem to be a big improvement over the Falken ZE912s they replaced.
