need to pick tires now

i have 7.5 wheels and im looking for budget performance tires. do i go 215 or 225 with and where can i find a good selection of nitto tires? thanks

From what I read here before buying, 225s work, but 215s work better.

215's are better? im seting th car up for very vigerous street driving so handling is a must

Seems to me that "setting the car up for very vigorous street driving" and "budget performance" might be at opposite ends of the spectrum.

Freeskier - it sounds like you WANT 225s. So go find out if they'll fit and get them. It takes a little homework and most likely some face time with someone who knows what they are doing to ensure that you are getting what you truly want.

Heck just search this forum and you will find more information and opinions about what to run. In the end it is what you WANT that matters.

That said, it is my opinion that wider does not mean better - especially when it comes to handling. There are more factors than just width.

the wheels are so light that i went with a 225 for better handling because the weight difference promotes stronger acceletarion anyways.
