Tire size for MO 2-S (bbs lm replica)

Hey guys,

I just ordered a set of MO 2-S wheels, also known as the ALT 279 Wheel (bbs lm replica) and I was wondering of wich tire size should I use.

I got different information, some told me to put 205/45/17 while others 215/45/17

What's the right tire size?

Thanks!

The wheels:

17x7.5 F / 17x7.5 R
4x100
ET35 F / ET35 R
23lbs

I'll post pics when I get the wheels installed

If you want to get more info about the replica, they are made by miro wheels.. you can get them at many places, I ordered mine through raderwerks, a audi/vw shop

im running stock 205/ 45s on 7.5 wide et38...so very very close to those specs

While the stock tires have no 'rim protector' if you want the look of that red mini above, go 215...theyll fit fine

here are the stock 205s on a 17x7.5 et 38

itll also really depend on your tires as they are all made differently...

"What's the difference between both size?"

The 215 is 5mm wider on each side of the wheel, and 4.5mm taller. 6.35mm = 1/4 inch. Pick the tire you want. See which size it comes in.

I'll only be sitting on NM springs for the moment but coilovers might come later.

What does it change exactly? Less rubbing?

Thanks for the info btw!

eh with some coilovers tires tend to be the first to hit the spring perches at low settings.... springs wont really matter as much

That's the exact same wheel. Raderwerks and ALT are selling the miro wheel under their name, that's all

You can change the sticker on the wheel yourself

So I guess if i'm sticking with springs for now, the wider the better?

Nice looking wheels blankito. Please post your impressions and pics once you get them. Are you planning on installing without hub centric rings?
