R53 18x8 clearance question

well i just got these wheels and i want to know if i need to run spacers and if they will even work!

rim size is 18x8 45 offset, and im going to run 215/35/18 so they will have a little stretch to them

the rear:

there is a finger gap there

also a finger gap there

the front:

every small gap, maybe like 3mm

so with spacers will they work or stick to far out?

thanks
Fred-

You might need a 5mm spacer in the front just like I have. You also are going to need to trim a lot of your plastic trim off if you are lowered. I am running 215/45/17 with an 48offset and I could not bolt my front wheel on due to it hitting my coilovers. A 5mm up front fixed the problem and the rears are fine. I scraped my wheels on all 4 corners until I trimmed some plastic off and still do sometimes.

Yes correct. Can be done easily with an dremel. It is much easier if they are taken off as well.

Anyway, what wheels are those ?

BTW, I hope you aren't just using the OEM jack, that piece of crap tilted forward on me once before.

One more thing, if your flares were left on the car and painted as one, then do not remove them. You would just need to jack up the car high enough to have space and just get under there and dremel everything off slowly and steady.

Cut the entire inside edge. If you want you can leave a bit left. If your wheels will continue to scrape, than they will just scrape the remaining part off due to it not having to much support anymore.

Sounds good. It might look fine, however, once taking hard corners it will start to scrape. You can just drive like that and start trimming once it starts rubbing.

Agreed, the rubs will look like a lighter grey grease mark, letting you know exacly where to trim.
