Slimmest profile BBK

Just wondering what the slimmest profile BBK is out there? I'm currently running the standard AP Racing set-up but may need to change it out as I'm worried my new wheels will not fit over them without the use of 10mm+ spacers, which I don't want to do.

TIA

Texas Speedworks makes a big brake kit that fits under 15" rims. It is a thicker disk and larger caliper that dissipates heat really well like the larger brake kits.

He's getting 18s.. He's worried about the caliper thickness with regards to the offset of the wheels..

I was hoping you would chime in Todd

How much more does it protrude than the OEM setup? Say, on a wheel with a flat face OEM had a 0mm gap, what size spacer would be needed to fit the DP6 13" kit?

I'll run the numbers on it based on the aluminum hats and relative to where the wheel sits- this is the common spec. The DP6 is however lower profile than the stock caliper, it just depends on how deeply inset the rotor is compared to the stock one.

A 13' kit with the DP6 caliper option would have the following space requirement:

Hat mount surface to Caliper body surface
.515" or 13mm plus air gap.

This is a very low profile and slimmer than the standard DynaPro as well as any other offerings that I know of.

Cool - as soon as my wheels arrive and, if I need to change, I'll be measuring everything up. Thanks Todd
