The CLUBMAN wheel thread

So, the Clubman has been out for over 2 months in the US. Has anyone installed any killer aftermarket wheels?

My HC/S still on order but would like to fit some type of bronze wheels on it.

Would like to have this thread dedicated to Clubman wheels ONLY if possible.

Let's see 'em ...

Thanks Dave, these are still my favorite wheels. Tires for the Daisy wheels arrive Thursday.

Love the RBs. What size tires are those?

Konig Rewinds, 205 60 15. Those are my pothole wheels. With the 60 series, the speedometer reads correctly.

Oops sorry about the RB comment. At first glance they looked like them but now I see the difference.

Nice! I never thought I would say that about those daisies, but you made a good choice.

Now you need to white out the trim to carry that look further.

Don't worry, we are here to support your modding habit.

Actually, it's a work in progress. The center caps, roof, mirror caps and rear halo are going to be swamp holly orange, just like my sig. If someone hits me, I don't want to hear "I didn't see that little thing!"

How about a wheel that DOESN'T fit Thought I was gonna run these custom BBS's, but they've got 12mm lug holes (used to run them on my r50) so I'll be going with another set of wider wheels.

Check post #288 for my 15" Konig Rewinds on the same car. I will warn you, the rewinds are a slight fitting problem on the rears. I had to file a little flash off of the rear trailing arm, and am going to run 5mm spacers on the rear when I reinstall them.

Fronts clear fine, but those aluminum rear arms are Fat, Fat, Fat.

Just drill them out. All MINI wheels are drilled to 14 mm. The lug hole has no effect on centering, the cone is the deal. The wheels center on the lug cones and the hub ring while the lugs are loose. Not a big deal at all. Really nice wheels.

I'm just gonna use it as an excuse to get new wheels

You could always get a set of 12 mm wheel bolts for 1 wheel just to see if they fit.

Besides the bolts....they fit no problem. The offsets are low (8mm) and the wheels are wide (8.5"), but I ran them on my r50 with no problems. I could easily remedy the problem by re-drilling or buying a stud conversion....but I'd rather move on to new wheels. I generally don't like running the same wheel for more than a year anyways.

Good logic. Sherry says I buy wheels and tires like she buys shoes. So, as long as she understands!
