Show me your Spacers!
Show me your Spacers!
OK. I finally decided on summer wheels & tires, and they now sit in the garage, awaiting the nicer weather.
After seeing a few Minis in the past with spacers, I have almost made the decision to get some. I'd like to see what everyone is running in terms of spacers, and see how they affect the look of the Mini.
So lets see them!

Lowerd with Bilstein PSS9, 12mm spacers and Tarox big brakes (another 3mm offset), 1.5 degree negative camber.
The R95 have 4mm higher ET (more inward) than the S-Lites.

10mm is the depth of the Mini hubs, which leaves nothing for... hubcentricity. 8mm and thinner stilll leave the wheel center something to hang on to, and 12mm and thicker will have hub extenders.
I didn't know that... interesting.

17X7.5'' +45offset RIMS, 215/45-17 TIRES with H&R 5mm spacers
Originally 15x7 et40 with 5mm spacers all around to make it et35. Longer lugs from Gorilla

Just simply low offset wheels (basically the same aesthetic as adding spacers to wheels to achieve low offsets)

And a funny little animation to show what a difference wide wheels and low offsets makes. From a 5.5" wheel with an offset in the high 40s to an 8.5" wheel with an offset less than 10

oh i getz it know, thanks for the info
What BBK are you running? I'm looking to find larger rotors and calipers that will fit my 17" by 7" et37mm OZ Uls and my stock 15" MINI winter wheels.

I'm running the 12.2" Wilwoods on the front only.
Check the TSW brake kit as well... they designed it to fit under some 16" wheels, I think, and the rotor is massively thick to help disperse heat and resist fade.
Oh yeah... I'm running studs from Turner Motorsport w/ the Muteki lug nuts from TSW.
