Did they forget to paint the rear wheel fender trim?

Red top and Mirrors to match would look keen

I kinda like the "missing" paint on the rear fender, makes the front look longer.

I like it! You see (...and will continue to see) some wild paint schemes on MINIs, especially at the track or at shows. That's probably the best place for them. I'd be too weird to drive something like that on a practical, daily-drive car. I mean...its different, its fun to look at...but every day? Anyway, its fun to rant and rave about paint jobs. To me, MINIs look good in just about anything.

I like it. Being non symmetrical brings more attention to it and makes you pause a second to think- what is different that catches your eye, then another second to process the change. All of it is meant for you to take interest.
It would be the same if one of the letterings on it were backwards or upside down. It will catch your eye or interest and you will want to read it just because it is there. Just human nature and being curious to know.

Perseptive, do you have an advertising/ marketing background?
I agree with your conclusion

When you are in the UG shopping for wheels you can select the car's paint color, and that in an option now!

Hank,

Is that a self portrait in your sig with the "over the tops"? Very cool!!!
My wife hates it when I wear my black mars around.
But they will be on constantly when my jet black mcs gets here next month!!!

Oh, I understand Alex, you were referring to the Tire Rack site and the color option for viewing wheels, cool!

yup, that's a self portrait. My wife rolls her eyes everytime I wear them. SO as not to embarass her I only wear them when I am mowing the lawn (with cigar in one hand and a grande Iced Americano in the other).
Now I also wear them to any Mini meets I go to, they seem to fit in just fine.
BTW, the optics on them are much better than the Revo's I have.
Post a self portrait of yours when when you get your black MCS
