For those of you who are curious about the Rota Grid, I just had them installed on my car last week. Weight isn't bad, 14.5 lbs. Lighter than stock R84's for the R53. I finally got a chance to take a few pictures as it has been raining constantly for the past few days here in the DC area. A few more are in my album.
Very nice what size on the tires, the look like they might stick well.
205/45/17
I thought about going to 215, but decided against it in the end. 205 will give me a slightly shorter and stiffer sidewall and I don't take the chance of rubbing if I lower (the wheels have a e37 offset).
The Advan Neova is one of the fastest street legal tires.
I also lost about 15 lbs. per wheel from the OEM wheels and tires. 60 lbs. of unsprung weight savings will be very nice for the track.

You went AD08s, nice. Good savings on weight, faster and stop better.
You won't rub on 215...I run 215/45/17 and have zero issues with the OZ Allegs, even with people in the car and to top it off...I'm lowered over an inch at 1.18inches all the way around.

Doesn't matter now. I already have the 205s and they have their advantages (slightly cheaper, slightly lighter, stiffer/shorter sidewall, slightly better gas mileage). No regrets here.
