Yeah, no joke. I have since raised it ever so slightly.
Check this out... when I first put the coilovers on, the tire was fighting with the fender liner - they both wanted to be in the same place at the same time.
Can anyone identify the owner of this MCS? I'd like to see a side view of this vehicle if possible. I can't remember where I copied this photo from... probably from this monster thread. Anyway, with the help of Alex at tirerack, we're pretty sure these are grey O.Z. Ultraleggeras, likely 17x7's. More photos of grey Ultraleggeras welcome too!

Thanks bee... I used tirerack to identify this wheel myself, but could only find the really small side view (clicking on "View on Vehicle"). The small view had a "Print Page (PDF)" link, but not a "View Larger" link. How'd you get this view?
Powder Coated 17X7.5 Quantum Tek S-13's with custom BRG/B centercaps from Aesthetic Creations (My photo-taking ability sux!) I also have a set of Black 17X7 Koni Feathers on order to use for the track!

On the main see-the-wheels-on-your-car page, click on "View Larger" right under the car. That'll give you the big car image.
(As opposed to the "Wheel Close Up" button which just shows the wheel.)
you guys really have an eye for detail.
...something that i would not notice on someone's car given the angle of the shot.
but you're right, they are really nice plates. the rear plates are smaller than the average or normal plates and the front are even smaller/slimmer. Slim premium plates as they call it here.
I've got wheel frustration. I love the look of the R99s but they (and every similar style wheel I can find) are too heavy. Then I figured I liked the look of the Konig daylites but you can only get black ones with a yellow lip, no solid black or dark grey available. I'd hate to buy brand new wheels and have to paint the lips immediately...

I had the same exact thoughts last month. Try Rota SVNs, Team Dynamics Motorsports Wheels, Konig Runaways, Enkei RPF1s. Those are the only ones that I can find that is the same style.
I love the look of Rota Battles but I'm scared to go that route because of the threads I've seen over the years of Rota wheel failures at the track...
What I needs is an R99 look alike that is forged and weighs 10-11lbs in a 17x7 et 40 size. Yeah right, I wish, while I'm at it I might as well thrown in a price of $100/wheel.
