Looks perfect on the 18s. 19s look a tiny bit too big even for me. Love the stance!

I'm too practical I guess, it's a bit low and 19s are too big for me. 17's are about as large as I (personally) prefer before the car looks like it's wearing its big brother's shoes...

LOVE LOVE LOVE that interior - best Mini ever had IMHO (and I've got a Checkmate, so that's saying a lot), and these wheels look great:

I Lost 30 lbs - unsprung weight.

I really did like the look of the 5 Star Pace Wheels but they were just too heavy, and with runflats too bouncy.

I installed Enkei RS-M 16x7 with Dunlop Star Spec Sport Z1 205/50/16. This maintained the stock diameter and added +5mm of offset.

The Clubman rides entirely different: Much smoother over bumps, more stable with less torque steer. They are only slightly less responsive than the 45/17 Conti's and feel more glued to the road.

Here is a little better view of the new wheels. (They don't look quite so anorexic.)

Question for ya'll... our friend has these wheels on his Scion xB and is thinking of changing them. Would they fit an 07 Cooper S? They are also posted in a Nissan forum for $600.

I like those wheels (was consdering the RS-7's myself, which are very similar)
but not sure they complement the Clubman too well ... they do look a bit too "anorexic" as you mentioned.

In a bigger size might be better ... but otherwise I would stick with something "fuller" if running 15-16"

chili red, black roof with black wheels is crazy played out. Chili red is by far the most common color for the r53... top that off with every other cr car that rolls into amviv on black wheels and you get a car that is indistinguishable in a chrowd of 400.

It's so bad to be honest that after a few (many) drinks i have to walk through the garage hitting my key thing to figure out which one of them is mine.

Just trying to avoid being one of the lemmings with blacked out everything on a red car.

LOL - thanks for the laugh.

You say all of that as if there was still an original thought out there in MINI world. Good stuff. I don't know how many chrowds [sic] of 400 MINIs you see but who gives a shiz......really. There aren't many 'original' MINIs.... find something you like and go with it. I appreciate your 'need' to be original but ff you think you truly are original (like the rest of us), please display your originality for us all to gawk at.

There is a reason some things are popular. They look good. Should we feel bad for that?

There's plenty of uniqueness left in the MINI world. Find me another MINI with a suspension or wheel setup like mine It's entirely possible to be unique still...

Uniqueness aside, the silver wheels look better as they provide a much better contrast and means of highlighting. The black wheels get lost in the wheel wells on his car.

As usual, I agree with Rally. The ro_jas look awesome. I'd never put black wheels on my MINI unless they had a painted lip or if my MINI had painted arches. Otherwise, it's all black to me.

...or maybe i'm just bitter because I can't afford Ultraleggs
