Hmm. I think you're right, Herman, but I wanted to match the roof and mirrors. Next time I renew my tires, perhaps I'll have them re-sprayed in matte (flat) black, kinda like these ones:
...Or perhaps I could just let them accumulate a nice coating of brake dust.

I know Im about 100 pages behind...but those rims are SEXY.
Some of you know I built another site. Well, on that site I've just built a tool where people can put up pictures and data about their wheels. This is shared with all in a searchable database.
To make it truly a valuable tool for the entire community please add your wheels.
You'll find these wheels much earlier in this thread in their original white paint. Now I had them powder coated satin black.....Kosei K1 Racing, 17 x 7.5" 42 ET. Please excuse the D.E. numbers...I gotta start removing them!
Not sure as I've never run 17's - I'm sure someone with more knowledge will chime in. You've just got to weigh up having a lower profile tire against ride comfort
Always say yes to lower profile tires if your end goal is a hard stance Looks much better and more aggressive than the 205/45's and 215/45's that everyone runs

+1
the wheels are HOT but you need a lower profile tire to get the stance you're looking for... after all, who better to say it than Mr. Stance himself
