Show me your WHEELS!
These are indeed the "new" wheels. The Rota's I refered to were 16x7 Slipstreams in royal black. Nice, but I was ready for something new.

I don't know guy's, Although a different look and not for everybody, I Love my 18's !

As far as the coilovers, With the Cross system I've got lot's of room to move up or down. The ride is incredible to say the least ! I haven't played with the settings since having them installed and I might tweak it a bit but right now, the car is rock solid and just feels near perfect. BIG difference from the Megans but there better be at twice the price
. I liked the Megans but needed to go lower
! LOL !
Oh don't get me wrong the Enkei's look superb, and my wife likes them more than the Konigs. My comment was just regarding their driveability on our streets!
Rally is right the stance is eyecatching to say the least! How low are you running this and whats the ride like....or does that even matter
.
Cheers!

For the most part, the streets in my town are pretty good. That being said, when I run my 18's I must keep my eye's open ALL the time for any imperfections in the road. With the 16's, I can take a hit with the 205/50's and not worry much about wrecking a wheel. The Feathers are very inexpensive as well. There's a great deal of comfort with the 16's. The car just feels so smooth but stick it in a corner and hang on ! I run Nitto Neo Gens. LOVE THEM ! I'm running on Cross coilovers and the ride is fantastic ! I've had two set's of springs (h-sport,M7) and a set of Megan coilovers and knowing what I know now, I would have just saved up the money for the Cross system and been done with it. My wife made a comment just the other day of how nice the car felt. She never say's much about the car other than for me to "SLOW DOWN"
! There is a ton of suspension travel with them and even though I'm running about 2" lower than stock, I really have no problems ! I do tend to go slower over big speed bumps !
I bought the Feathers from a local shop called Goodwin Racing. They deal mostly with mazda people. You can look them up at www.good-win-racing.com. I felt like I got a great deal and Brian the owner seems like a very nice guy ! As for the quality of the wheels ? All four wheels were packaged very well, the finish of each wheel had 0 imperfections and look to be very solid and well built. Didn't really dig the center caps so I left them off.
The more I look at the pictures I took today, the happier I become on my decision to buy the matt silver Feathers. It took FOREVER to pick out a new set of replacement wheels.

For what it's worth, I stopped by my local Tire Kingdom here in Charlotte yesterday and they sold me a set of Konig Feathers (I went w/ black) for $100 per wheel! I'm getting 17x7 w/ 40mm offset. I couldn't pass that deal up. Downside is they are on back-order and will take approximately 5 weeks to come in, but since my Clubman's not even built yet, I can wait.
Just thought you might be interested in the pricing for what I think is a great wheel for the money.

greg d i hear ya buddy ive been waiting too . mine should be in sometime at the end of july. cant wait to get those black wheels on . i got what i felt was a great deal too from discount tire. $908 shipped with 215-45-17 nitto neogens. and i tell ya i need um, i got about 34000 miles on the stock runflats but they still have enough on them to last about 10000 more if i take it easy on them. all highway miles.
+1
I dont want to sound snobby (keep in mind I have Motegi Racing wheels on my MINIs...hardly fancy) but the M3 should probably have a higher quality wheel than OEM installed if you are going to go to the expense of removing the OEM M3 wheels. A staggered setup doesn't HAVE to be 6K, if you find the right wheel.
I was looking at the BBS RGR for my e46 M3 but never got that far. I sold the whole car! (to buy the 06 mini.....)
I've seen Rays on M3s (CE28's and they look good) Other volks mounted up as well.
The RGRs were $4,500 at the time. That list is a good one!
Just my 2 cents.

I'm looking to replace the wheels on the Mini, not the M3
Still OT but:

I'd still stick with the same suggestion. If you've got the money, I'd avoid the cheap 'tuner' wheels like sportmaxx. You can easily get good quality wheels that don't come with a pricetag as high as the HRE's......BBS, OZ, Volks, Works, etc.
