will take better shots tomorrow outside.

got these from Alex over at TireRack. BBS CV 17x7.5 +38 with Dunlop SportMaxx 205/45/17.
no rubbing. the tires are wide like 215/45/17's and look fantastic from all angles. thanks
again, Alex!

I saw a MINI on eBay with those wheels, I really like them, do you have the weight for them?

New wheels look awesome- I'm a huge fan of the look, even if I can't stomach the pricetag.

What are your plans for the Sport 5-spokes? I'm a fan of that look too...let me know.

Nice Kenchan.....one of my favorite sets of BBS wheels for our car. They look like they were designed just for the lines of our car Very OEM+ look. Good choice

they do look awesome but I would have gone with a 215/40. They may run wider than some models like the F1GSD3, but others are wider still. Can't beat the rebate nor the price though

thanks, rally. yah, i didnt want to go too far away from the factory
look and these CV's, as you said, look like they were made for the MCS.
very MINI look. i luv it. was getting a taste for mesh wheels
lately since selling the R90's long time ago. these are prefect for me
with the nice size and aggressive offset, and not as heavy as R90's.

thanks PGT, but 215/40 will most-likely rub. the 205/45/17 SportMaxx
are only 4mm narrower than my 215/45/17 HTR+'s and the HTR+'s
were rubbing a little bit at +40mm. given that these BBS are +38,
didn't want to risk the chance...plus, they dont look narrow at all in
person like the factory SP9000DSST's. i thought i was going to
rub just looking at the tires but i got like 2mm clearance.

+1 on the clubman i think you can do 215/40/18's or
even 215/45/18's and look good.

Mine are 16's I wish I would have waited for the 17's as they are very close to the brake calipers. I wanted the royal black and all that was available at the time was 16" and I could not wait to yank the run flats. Next set will be 17" for sure....if the funds hold up!

Love those wheels Ken!

The new R112 Challenge wheels have 8 pairs of spokes, but there were pictures of a mysterious and unnamed other set of wheels on the mini.com challenge section that had 7 pairs of spokes - looked just like these...

Nice choice!

Any rubbing with that tire size?
