My 02 MCS has it and it works

BTW Those wheels on HABUTGO's Mini look like crown spokes on steriods!

The R50/R53 compares rotational speed of each wheel and turns on the light if one wheel goes at a different speed. That's known as the indirect method. The direct method uses sensors mounted on the wheels.

Have you encountered any rubbing yet? Any possibility of going to better-fitting tires for these 8.5" wide wheels when these wear out?

Habutgo,

Are those SSR MS1s on your MINI? Do you have any pictures--I looked in your gallery and didn't see any.

Where did you get them?

215/45/17 (Nokian WRG2). Stock suspension. I'll have to go look again, but I think the fronts are flush and the rear poke about about an inch. I think. I'll take some photos tomorrow.

RH AQ Maxilite, 17x8.5, ET35. I have no idea how much they weigh.

I really like the way the S-Lites look , and that's why I got these. I like the look of the thicker 7-spoke design. No rubbing (again, stock suspension). The 215/45/17 is approved for 7" - 8" widths, so I'm not too far out of the range and would go with this size again. Though, I've only driven like 10 miles on this setup so I might change my mind after I've motored down the road a bit more.

Elemental- Looks nice, can't wait to see it with the drop. How do you like the finish and quality of the Arospeed wheels? I could dig the Kino in 17" in gold if the finish is nice.

Thanks, I wish that was bug splatter. It's a new paint job for the front end that you see...From the MM.org run to Waco, On the way back I was behind another car that was being driven in a spirited manner. Loads of TX road crap on those smaller Farm to Market roads.

The finish is really nice. Really metalic and glossy. Make sure whoever you get them from sends you some hub rings. These wheels are 73mm bore.

But wait...there is more

A Stack of Boxes delivered by my favorite Motorhead UPS driver. He hung out while I opened the boxes.

First Layer...

Second Layer...they sure do pack these well...

Third Layer.... Ohh weeee...I see Wheel under there...

May I present....HRE C20, 18x7.5, ET43 Polished lip, brushed centers, titanium hardware

Big thanks go to PGT for pointing these out to me, Rally for answering questions I had about offsets and Tuls for overall visionary guidance.

Now to agonize over tire selection
