where did you order them? I know NGP Racing and TunerShop carry Schmidt. that's the size & offset I'd like to run. my Compomotives are 17x8 ET40 and I really like the look. an extra 5mm might be a little nicer! curious to see what they look like installed.

well, sad news: I won't be able to install the RH AQ Maxilite wheels as the bolts used for the RH-specific adapter only come in a 12mm x 1.5 fitment. nothing with 14mm x 1.25. nada. ziltch. the folks over at GMP Performance were super nice though.

You should be able to get them from an industrial supplier and machine the adapter.

actually got them for a great price from Ebay Ireland, brand new in boxes

I still haven't decided if I'm gonna run them or not, might just re-sell them for a couple extra bucks. I want wheels with dish this year, I just couldn't pass up the price for these.

After looking at hundreds of wheels I was thinking about going with the graphite OZ Ultraleggeras until I came across the pic of Jeffc's MCS with the MSW Type 11's on it. After trading some PM's with him I decided those were the wheels for me. So this morning I had them mounted!

Thanks for the help Jeff!

How about the 17x7 ET45 version of this wheel with the Texas Speedwerks M14x1.25 to M12x1.5 stud conversion kit?

Sweet! I'd never seen any pictures of the SL's, very nice. IMO, much better looking than the UL's (which are nice as well).

That's an r50 so it still just uses the 12mm, so you wouldn't run into any problem with them fitting

Both of your MINIs look great with these wheels.

What size and offset did you order. I may have go with a 3rd set of wheels. Any spacers needed, etc. I presume you had to get hug rings?

Thanks,
Don

Don - The size is 17x7 and I have no clue about the offset. I just called tirerack and ordered the ones they told me to. Not sure what a hug ring is either? They did come with "centering rings" installed. Same thing or different?

No spacers needed and no rubbing. Those are my stock runflats too

if my car had been produced before 05/06, the wheels would have fit wonderfully. they're all packed up and going back Monday. very sad because I really like them. 17 x 7 wouldn't work either because they use the same adapter system.

Centering rings and hub rings, the same thing. I will have to see what the rack has for specifications and a really great UHP tire.

Thanks, they look good.

The 17x7 are ET45 ... why to they need an adapter?

That's how the RH multi-fit wheels work. They require an adapter which allows the wheels to be used with many different bolt-patterns. It's a special feature that RH offers on some of their wheels.
