Those are cool!! Are they also available in 17x7.5 by any chance? You mention adapters - do they not come in MINI bolt pattern? Where did you find these?
EDIT: I found the website. 17x7, 4x100, +45 offset available. Veeeeeeery interesting...
Wasn't sure about Black wheels on a CR/W, but I'm glad I did it. this photo is from a test fitting, they won't be on the car for real until Spring time. The black grill is photoshopped (poorly)
so, I'm actually going to be able to install these. Joe from RH Wheels/GMP Performance called today and informed me that he really wants to get the wheel bolts for the adapters to work. he's going to have his shop custom machine a set (from OEM bolts), so I'm crossing my fingers that all will work and my MINI will be sporting these sometime next week. yippee!!! until then...
Nice that they're even going to try. I suspect they want to be able to fulfill the >='06 market.
These wheels are the correct width for 235s. I wonder what kind of damage one would have to do to get a set on.
WOW...would LOVE to see these installed! Gorgeous wheel.

I'm impressed. An extremely simple wheel style but it works so well on the MINI. Do you have additional pics?
thanks, duck. i only have the picts in my gallery. im planning to take
more shots when it's nicer out. my car's hibernating right now.
at the end of the day i think simple OE looking wheels look the best
on this car. ive tried tuner wheels in the past (SSR Comps) and
it's nice and sporty looking but it lacks sophistication. the car has
so many curves and bits, what it asks for is simplicity.
i started out with R90's and that's a fine wheel, but it's heavy,
too complicated looking, and offset and width are too weak.
probably never. not on my priority list. the floor needs
a little scrubbing now and then but it's clean enough for me.
i dont plan on getting tiles either until they are filthy dirty.
my garage is more of a workshop, not a display case.
Drew, Once again, smoking car. Did you notice any performance gains after you put them on? I'm on the fence now between yours and OZs, both anthracite/dark silver finish. OZs appear somewhat lighter. Di teh 215s fit well?

Thanks and here's another shot of the wheels.
All performance gains after the wheel change i would attribute to the goodyears, wow what a difference in performance and ride comfort after ditching the runflats.
Aren't the OZs offset et37? I think my et42 is more clearance friendly and personally i don't think i would want my wheels to stick out any further than what i have now.
Yeah the weight thing, my previous subaru had 17 lb. SSR GT2 (18x8.5) which is amazing light for that size and everytime i hit an unseen pothole my heart would skip a beat. I'm happy trading some weight gain for wheel strength here...

Head over to the Vendor Group Buys forum, there is a group buy started up for 17" XD9s. I'd love to get a set at a discount, but I think we still need more people to commit.
