MyPocketRocket,

My car is not lowered. The wheels are 17s in black. The tires are Falken Ziex 512s (all season) size 205 45 17. Hope that helps.

Minilites???

Does anybody have any idea about the weight of 15" Minilite EV2000s. I can get it from the company, http://www.minilite.co.uk, but I thought I'd ask your opinions first. I'm sure they're pricey, but I like 'em!!!

MyPocketRocket,

I bought my FLIKs at edgeracing.com
Great prices. Excellent service. If you buy tires at the same time, they will balance them before shipping to you. Just make sure to set the proper tire pressure when they arrive. I rode around with mine at approximately 40 psi before I realized I needed to adjust the pressure. I set mine around 34 psi. Might try it a little lower to see if it increases grip. Good luck.

Nice! I really like those. Could you give me more information on them? Price? Where to buy? Weight?

I got them at NTB(National Tires Battery) you can also go to www.discounttiredirect.com they have them for $138.00 a wheel, the tires are 215/40/17 sonar 602. The weight of the Rims is about 17 pounds my not sure what the tire weighs the guy at the store says the total weight of tires and rim is about 25 pounds per tire.

Thank You

Thanks Bonz. The wheels are Konig Next. The "crib" is a museum/castle in Doylestown PA. If you notice the roof is actually constucted of concrete (first in the US). Doylestown is a great destination for NE MINI drivers. Good food, scenic spots and great roads. Come and visit!!

Thank you Hafid. I must say they were one of my favorite purchases ever. Over all these years I never bought aftermarket wheels/tires. This thread has been a lot of fun to look at and it helped my decision. Thanks to all of you and your great looking MINIS.

jaxmini,

Those are some really sweet looking wheels. Do you happen to know how much they weigh? Thanks.

MM2 is rockin' new wheels & tires:

fresh off the jackstands, Exel TZ-10 in 18x7.5" with Kumho MX in 215/35-18. Corner weight is 37 pounds, only 0.5 pound heavier overall than the 17" versions they replaced! Even better in terms of rotational inertia, the tires are lighter than the wheels (17.5/tire vs. 19.5/wheel), versus the old set using Yoko Parada2's (20/tire vs. 16.5/wheel)

I'm excited, the 18's really nail the cartoon aesthetic the MINI is famous for!
