Nice looking..

I am reconsidering my dark colored wheels and putting some silver ones on instead. But the brake dust! Oh, I can't stand it.

It was rubbing just a bit with my 120lbs+ 4 factory wheels in the back while I was driving back from the shop. This morning with me in the car I did not notice any rubbing at all. I will trim the wheel well this weekend anyway...just to get them off my radar.

Yep, it rubs ...

I never did get to trimming of the wheel wells so I have already rubbed through the driver side rear. Only rubbing in the rear. When I'm alone, takes a big bump to rub. When I have another person, smaller bumps.

Does not bother me at all and there is absolutely no tire damage. Just need to peel of the melted plastic from the tire...

Need to trim it up this weekend I guess

By the way, H-sport springs.

Rubbing is not a bad thing...it's a music of your car with instrument of the street.

No you're not! Do you think you went to SCAD and you would become trendsetter Just kidding! Your car is real nice with 18"

Actually I want Flik Wasps gunmetal, but I have been waiting for 2 months and no solid arriving date yet, so i went with my very first choice that I have been thinking for a year...ASA AR1 (the closest thing to R90)

I just took the center caps off from all 4 wheels and I can see some rust built up in there. How to deal with it?

Yea, rust does grow in that area. What I did was this. Steel wool’ed the rust as best I could. It's usually very surface there so it's not hard to do.

I then heated up the center cap area until all the moister has left the hat. You can actually see the moister evaporate off the hat. Now you know it's just hot enough to spray on Krylon paint, color of your choice, black for me.

This basically bakes the paint on and dries the paint almost instantly. I then lightly go over the paint with more heat.

Below is a pic my uncle took of me doing the heating of the hat area.

By the way, I love your RC car! I do RC sailboats myself ...
