Currently have the Enkei DM5's 18x7.5 21lbs
But ordered the Racing Hart CP F-Tuner-R's 18x7.5 13.5lbs with BF-Goodrich KDW-2 215/35R18's see attached thumbs.

Im jealous of your super clean hub. Mine was
rusted so bad had to sand it down and paint it flat black with engine enamel.
I love the look of these sports wheels WITHOUT center caps. Just makes it
sportier looking. :smile: I never use centercaps on my ssr's either.

Thanks Kenchen, TwoMinis. My hubs were actually starting to rust and as these wheels didn't come with caps, I sanded them down and painted with a custom "platinum" mix using Rustoleum

I was wondering when someone would start asking I located some polymer based paint made specifically for white walls at a local tire shop. They're a bit tricky to put on as it tends to set quickly so the technique is more like pooling it on rather than painting which would leave brush marks. The Kumos worked out very well with nicely raised borders that stops the paint from spreading beyond the letterings. After a day, the colors mellowed out into a off-white color which I prefer...looks a little aged. This was only the base coat and if I wanted, there is a top coat that comes in white, gold, red and someother shades.
My primary reason for doing this was to visually remove the emphasis away from the size of the wheel (17s). Also, my RH bling wheels were too tedious to clean up after each ride. The lettering maximise the reach of the graphics to the perimeter, which while rolling, appears to much larger than any 22 wheels. Not to mention, they look purposefully race like...old trick from racing
And best of all...no one's doing it (yet)

About the lifted letters, its a good idea to use a small foam pad and
dab dab dab dab the white paint onto the text. :smile: much easier work
than using a brush.
You can use the foam brush ACE and HomeDepot sells for doing hard to
reach places like behind the toilet tank, etc. It has a little handle
and comes with a foam pad. (not the black foam pad for stains!)

Props! My 1st Rex was a 12 V too! I'll see if I can dig up pics on both the 12 and 16 valve cars I had. Gotta love Rex's.
