The Flix on the red car look awsome. The car looks like a MC40 without the stickers!
Thanks ... this is why I got them. Was my favorite part of the MC40.

How do you guys think those anthracite Flix would look on an all Black MCS?
LIke this ... just damn amazing !!! Here are more pics http://www.mini2.com/gallery/persona...y_nparker.html

Colored wheels

Does anyone have the Panasport FS-16's in color? They look so cool in yellow, but I have never seen them except in this web page:

http://www.panasport.com/new%20mini%20cooper.html

What colors do they come in besides, yellow, blue, and I assume white?

kenchan, those 15's are on my car (I'm pictoraly challenged, so early apex helped out!)

The wheels are NZO Monza's and the tires are Falken Azenis Sport 205/50/15's.

I have the po' man's ssr's. They are very much like the ssr's, but they are labeled "HSR"s. I think it means "Here's Some Replica's"!!!

The springs are H&R's...again po' man's lowering. I wish I had coilovers, but first I gotta turn some coinover!

you made the right choice!

I too like that Enkei. Saw one on a Evo8 before and it looked
bad-butt (sensored).

Panasports on Order

As a follow-up to JoeDentist, above. I have a set of FS-16 Panasports on order with gunmetal gray powder-coated spokes and a polished rim. I felt the color gave the wheels a little more depth and interest and I love the traditional Minilite-like look. The coating adds to the price and to the delivery time as they make them in Japan in batches when they have enough orders. I am told to expect as long as 3 months. I will post photos when they are installed. I am switching from my 17-inch S-lites to the 16-inch in hopes of softening the ride a bit. Not that I can't take the harsh ride mind you (snort, spit).

I ordered them through Dave Turner Motorsports in San Diego so I can pick them up and avoid the shipping hassles.

I will be selling my S-lites which are chromed. Anyone want to "Pimp their ride?"

So after seeing pics of Flik Wasps in this thread I picked up some of my own. I am getting them mounted this weekend. They were shipped to me without tires ( I have yoko es 100 215/45). I thought it would be fun to throw them on the scale. Guess what....

My scale says the 17x7 Flik Wasp weighs 20lbs! I thought they were 19 lbs.

Now I realize my scale could be wrong, but it is one of those expensive digital scales. I tried it many times.

Has anybody else weighed these rims?

Chrome S-Lites

Here is a photo of the S-lites that were on the car when I bought it used. They will be for sale when my Panasport FS-16 wheels arrive.

These aren't chromed but polished Centerline RPM's. They look good and don't show the brake dust.
