What is that black piece in front of your rear fender arch? Is that a rock
blocker?...or is that a shadow of a building?

Nice MINI john. It's refreshing to see one without a spoiler. Very clean look.

The car looks great! Do you have any problems with the 35 series sidewalls compressing to much and your wheels banging the pavement on ruts, dips, bumps or potholes? I'm about to order my 18x7 wheels with 215/35-18's.

I believe they were $159 each, weigh 16.7 pounds and have an offset of 45.
Sweet looking car! Very classy, and a little retro with the side stripes. The wheels were a good choice.

I'd love to see your car with Panasports. I think it would be a perfect complement to the classic black/white/chrome look.

Did you use spacers to fit the stoptechs?

Wheels fitment....

Nop I didn't use any spacer on the 57S.. they provide enough clearance to use the stoptech.

Rota Slipstream Wheels

Well I didn't break the bank account @ $125.00 ea. I did loose 12lb per corner though.

This 800X600 format really sucks, it screws up the pic's by the time they are croped down to fit.
OT (Anyone have a free photo editor or know where to get one.)

New wheels/tires

Alex @ tirerack hooked me up with these. ASA wheels with Avon 215/45/17 The ride seems as good as the stock as far as smoothness but handling is better. Crisper without that stiff go-cart feel. Still have the stock 16 runflats with the 5 spoke 4 sale

Yes they are , they are nicer in person. i am going to lower the car a litle bit so they would look really phat. these wheels are a lot lighter that the run flats so i get a lot of wheel spining , perhaps it is because of the tires. the material is so hard.

oh they are a pian in the ax to clean.

Well, I was set to buy a set of Kazera's from Alex, but I came across a used set of wheels/tires today at the Pulley Party that I just couldn't resist. Here they are mounted on the car:

Great looking '05 MCS gravedgr!

Love your wheels. What size are they - 18" x 7.5"? I was never a big fan of the chromed/polished look until I photochopped some Kinesis K28R's on the '05 press pic and fell in love with it. Goes really well with the other chrome highlights on the car imo, GREAT JOB...
