I'm loving my new Kazera 17s. I have them in chrome like in this pic, but they also come in silver and light gray.

Hey DARXAR ur car s hot, saw an all blk like urs with chrome mirrors. Oh my good, it made me want to lift my stripes and have the wht top done blk just so I could get those chrome mirror covers. I like the factory grille too.
What kind of wheels are those? Are they light? Blk has turned out to be a difficult color to deal with but when the car is clean it just looks the best.

Check out Edge Racing (Sponsor Directory) - they carry this wheel & offer tire-wheel combos.

Why is everyone so anti-chrome?
Aside from the weight issue, is there an appearance issue?
Chrome rims have looked good for years.
But is seems that everyone wants paited silver.
Just wondering.

There is really not much chorme on the body to compliment chrome wheels. Plus, with silver, you don't have to worry about polishing to keep them looking good. I have seen several good exceptions; mainly centerlines (RPMs, Impulse), or wheels with polished lips. IMO, the majority of available chrome rims are too artsie-gawdy. But then, I haven't seen many on MINIs to change my opinion.

I'm in favor of white wheels for MINIs with white roofs, like Ryephile's.

I love the Parada Spec-2's! I can only compare them to the Pirelli Euforia's that came on the car; the Parada's have way more dry grip, similar wet grip, are a bit louder overall, definitely take the edge off the bumps, have reduced tramlining, and of course have a way cool tread pattern An important note is the Parada's have much better feedback and feel at-the-limit of adhesion; they are among the most communicative tires I've driven. Combined with a great price point and stock 17's sizing, the Parada is a winner!

Hope that helps
Cheers,
Ryan

The Parada's are really responsive and sticky - but be forewarned, after 6K miles or so, they will be LOUD. They provided nice competition for my Rogue Exhaust.
