Anyone running Koni Sports and Tein S-Techs
Yee old search function yeilded zilch.
I've been running the S-Techs for a few months now with the stock struts. The stockers do an OK job of dampening with the new springs, but ride gets a little bouncey in certain situations.
Am I going to lose a filling with the Koni's???

Hello there,
We are running the Koni Sport kit, 4 Koni yellow adjustable and 4 Koni shocks, I like this setup because the springs are matched perfectly with the shocks.
I have a lot of experience with the Koni adjustable shocks, I have been running these on my cars for the past 10 years,
It is very easy to adjust, and for the street you can be actually softer than the factory ride, and on the track, you can adjust so it will be as good as any sport shocks.
Please keep us in mind if you decide to go the Koni route,
Thanks
Victor

Victor,
do you have any experience with running the Koni shocks with M7 springs?
I've been eyeing the new Koni Coil-Overs that you show on your website but without any info on spring rates it's going to be difficult to compare them to the stock springs or the M7's I currently run. 2 others things that don't help, 1. the rear shocks rebound cannot be adjusted while they're on the car (unless one drills holes through the car - right?) and 2. adjusting the height of the car will directly affect the spring travel... still, I like Koni, had good luck with them in the past and they are from Holland, which is "home" for me...
Marcel.

Sorry, I do not have any experience running the M7 springs,
from what I have heard, they could probably be a little low for my taste, also remember the springs sag a little after a while.
Regarding the Koni springs, they are 25 to 30% stiffer than stock, and lower the car about 1" to 1.5"
all sport springs are all in that ballpark (including H&R, Eibach and others)
One more thing, Koni does not manufacture their own springs, and I believe that some other manufacturers are in the same boat,
So.....we might be buying the same springs in just different colors
Regarding the coilovers, the shocks are similar to the yellows, Koni does not give spring rate info as this kit was designed for the street and not for racing.
You can never go wrong with a Set of Konis
